Ambo university is located at West Northern Shoa zone, Oromia regional state of Ethiopia. It was founded in 1939 EC with one of the oldest university.
Currently ambo University is running 51 graduate and 85 undergraduate programs which are divided into nine colleges/institutes/schools and 82 academic departments. Besides its main campus at Ambo, the University also has three campuses – Awaro, Guder and Woliso.
In the years to come, the University has the vision of becoming one of the most prestigious universities in the country excelling in academics, research and community service giving its utmost attention to quality education.

7. Master of Public Health (MPH) and above in General public Health
8. BSc in Midwifery
9. PHD in Epidemiology
Agribusiness and value chain management (ABVC)
MSc and above in Agricultural Economics

Aplication requirements
- Age of applicant should be: 18-45 years old for MSc/MA and 18- 35 years old for BSc/BA
- Interested applicants should submit letter of application. CV, copy of Grade 8 certificate, Degree, Masters, and Ph.D documents are needed .
For graduate: Cumulative grade (CGPA) requirement for male: 3.50 and above for MSc/MA and 3.0 and above for his under graduate.
For Undergraduate: Cumulative grade (CGPA) requirement for female applicants:3.35 and above for MSc/MA and 2.75 and above for her under graduate.
Applicants with disability: should have a CGPA of 3.15 and above for MA/MSc/ LLB and 2.5 and above for first degree. All Technical Assistant /Lab Assistant applicants should have CGPA of 3.25 and above for male and 3.00 and above for female for their undergraduate studies.
Thesis Grade should be B or Very Good and above.
PhD, MSc/MA/ applicant must submit Grade 8* Certificate during Registration.
Monthly salary for all positions shall be the Initial as per Higher Education Institution Scale.
Evidence from the Revenue Office must be provided to confirm that work experience taxes have been paid from non- governmental organizations and private institutions.

Date of Registration will be: within 10 consecutive working days after the vacancy announced.
